temple thursday

let's talk about my last week temple experience:

last thursday, i rode my bicycle up to the temple, its all up hill. but the great thing about that is the ride back is all down here and 20 minutes faster. when there is no traffic i can make it back in 5 minutes. ride up there is like 25 minutes..it's hard. 

anyway, i came back put on a skirt and asked my roommate if she wanted to go with me. we both headed to the temple, performed baptisms and we came back. it only took about 20 minutes, it was super fast.

i love the temple, it is my most favorite thing about living in Provo. 

later that night I asked Katelynn (my best friend) if she wanted to go with me. we were checking for our recommends in my car. i leave mine in my scriptures tucked into the front cover.... it wasn't there. i was like oh shoot, that's the only place i put it. we went to the baptistry recommend desk to ask if they found it from earlier that morning. they said they hadn't and said to check the front desk.  Katelynn checked where i was sitting earlier to see if it was there and checked the locker i had that morning.  it wasn't there, but while i was waiting for Katelynn. I was standing there talking to the temple worker, some guy walked into me and said "in the way much?" oh, that was smooth.... Then we went up to the front desk. Guess what!! it was there, oh happy day. we didn't want to do baptisms because we actually got ready for the night. so we did confirmations, afterwards we sat and read our scriptures. in the middle on my prayer that boy decided to sit by me and interrupt my prayer and katelynns scripture reading. he tried to be smooth and was hitting on both of us. he then proceeded to ask me to hang out with some time, said i should call him sometime. i told him i didn't have a phone. then he wrote his name and number down on a piece of paper and gave it to me. he did baptisms then came back at sit by katelynn and asked us to go to his house watch a movie and eat ice cream. it was a nice offer. but we both declined.
